If God has placed the desire to be a wife and possibly a mother within your heart, then that’s what he also wants for you. Don’t allow the clock or external influences to discourage you or bring confusion or doubt. Press into God and learn more about your desire and how he wants your life to bring him glory while single and waiting and once you are found by the man you’re praying for.

Lord, I ask for a deeper revelation about my desire for marriage. Show me what purpose you have for me to fulfill right now as a single woman and teach me how to embrace the desire for marriage without allowing the desire to consume and frustrate my heart, mind, and emotions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The thing a wicked man fears shall come upon him, but the desire of the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall be granted.
Your innermost desires are hand-selected and imparted by God himself. I am not talking about worldly or surface-level desires. But those desires that are a part of your spiritual makeup, filled with intricate detail and specificity, perfectly woven together, curating the masterpiece of the woman you are.
Take a moment and think about who God is. He is the Almighty, All-Powerful, Sovereign One. When he breathes life into a creation, it’s with great thought and intention. He didn’t just string you together haphazardly. Psalms 139:13-16 gives us some information about how God formed our intricacies before we were in our mother’s womb. He had thoughts and plans for our lives even before creating us masterfully.
When you understand more about the magnificence of the mind of God while exploring his different creations, you can easily accept that your desire for marriage was placed within your heart by the hand of God Himself. How else would you get such a significant desire?
A godly marriage is not merely about gratifying the flesh. Marriage as a Kingdom woman comes with an immense purpose, duty, and responsibility. It’s such a great calling that it was the first assignment given to the very first woman God created. He didn’t tell her first to learn who she was, minister, start a business, launch a non-profit, serve the community, work her way up the corporate ladder, and then, finally, after she lived a full life to get married. The Lord created Eve, spent personal time with her (while Adam was still sleeping), and then brought her to Adam for marriage and destiny fulfillment.
The trials of your faith, your journey of prolonged singleness, and personal missteps do not determine who God created you to be or what your calling is. God determines who you are created to be and what your calling is. The clock and calendar don’t decide if God’s plan for your life has changed or not. God decides.
