The same power that is released when you intercede for others’ breakthroughs, is released when you intercede for your future husband.
But, how do you know when to pray to make sure you’re not obsessing about marriage? You want to be active in faith, but not overwhelmed by the desire. So there must be balance in intercession.
My advice is to pray over his life as you are led by the Holy Spirit. This will help you not become consumed or distracted by the desire for marriage. When the desire is stirred within you that’s when you should pray. Also, if you have a negative thought or emotion about your singleness turn those low emotions into moments of power prayer!

Father, I pray that you help my future husband to find his identity in Christ only, not from the world, friends, family, or society. I pray that he can hear from your voice clearly and that you alone define who he is as a man, father, brother, servant, friend, leader, and future husband. I pray that Your Word has authority in his life and not the words of others or made-up words in his mind. Lord, I pray that you give my future husband supernatural strength in his single season. Help him not to succumb to the desires of the flesh or the pride of life, chasing money or women. Also, strengthen his mind when facing the challenges of this world and the weight of the responsibility he has presently in his life. Remind him that you are his Helper and that your grace is sufficient for him when he needs Heaven’s help.
